Cardiac and internist evaluation of patients admitted for inpatient diagnostics (ultrasound and radiological non-invasive scanning and invasive diagnostics) as part of the preoperative evaluation and referral to a consultation with the surgical vascular advisory board.

Presentation and evaluation of the patient and participation in the work of the vascular surgical advisory board.

Cardiac and internist preoperative processing and treatment of patients admitted for scheduled surgical and invasive radiological vascular procedures.

Cardiac and internist treatment of the patient after surgical and invasive radiological vascular procedures.

Discharge and possible additional cardiac-internist outpatient follow-up examinations of patients who underwent surgical procedures at Vascular Surgery Clinic.

List of procedures

Echocardiographic examinations – ultrasound examination of the heart, its structures and functions

Ultrasound angiological examinations – ultrasound examination of large arterial and venous as well as other blood vessels, their structure and functions.

Holter ECG – one-day or several-day monitoring of electrical activity of the heart by using digital ECG record.

Blood pressure Holter monitoring – one-day monitoring of blood pressure values and dynamics

Ergometry – stress test Diagnostic procedure which enables monitoring the electrical activity of the heart through continuous ECG recording, blood pressure values and monitoring symptoms, all under certain stress customized to each patient, all for the purpose of determining the need for invasive diagnostics-coronary angiography i.e. for the purpose of observing the occurrence of arrhythmias under stress and blood pressure dynamics in patients receiving antihypertensive therapy.

Cardiac and internist evaluation of patients admitted for inpatient diagnostics (ultrasound and radiological non-invasive scanning and invasive diagnostics) as part of the preoperative evaluation and referral to a consultation with the surgical vascular advisory board.

Appointments are scheduled through the IHIS system by specialists in general medicine or specialists in other specialties, for patients who need to be examined by a vascular surgeon, outpatient diagnostic procedures (angiological ultrasound, radiological diagnostics, scanners, etc.).
