What is a By-pass?
It is a surgical intervention which enables bypassing coronary artery narrowinga or occlusions, with a bridge between the aorta and the coronary artery below the narrowing point. If necessary, not only one, but several arteries can be bypassed.

Coronary angiography makes it possible to determine precisely which arteries are affected by narrowings, of what extent they are and what is the condition of the remaining section of the affected artery.

Heart valves have the function of valves, and are located between the atrium and the ventricle, i.e. between the ventricle and the artery which exits the heart. Sometimes these valves do not open and close properly, thereby disrupting blood flow through the heart and body. Heart valves are replaced with a mechanical or biological prosthesis.
