Non-invasive diagnostics of most vascular diseases is based on ultrasound examination. Every year, more than 20,000 examinations in the field of general angiology and neuroangiology are performed at our Institute. In addition to ultrasound examination of the carotid arteries, ultrasound examination of the radial arteries is performed in order to assess the eligibility for heart surgery, and in rare cases, ultrasound examination of the renal arteries and veins of the lower limbs.
